If we let the slower car be traveling at x mph and the faster car be traveling at x+8, then we can figure out there speeds over 2 hours. 2(x+x+8)=208 -> x+x+8=104 -> 2x+8=104 -> 2x=96 -> x=48 mph. 48+(48+8) = 48 + 56 = 104 mph. 2 hrs * 104 miles = 208. So, slow car = 48 mph; fast car = 56 mph
