P (x) = 90(1 + 1.5x) / 1+ 0.5x P = number of fish x = number of months since the fish were placed in the aquarium One year after the fish are first placed in the aquarium, what is the total number of fish? Round your answer to the nearest whole number.

Refer to my previous answer. Replace x with 12, as there are 12 months in a year.

244.2857

oh ok

OpenStudy (anonymous):

rounded up -> 245 fish. You can't have .2857 of a fish

OpenStudy (anonymous):

244 would be the closest whole number

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Yeah but when you have say 255.4 people in statistics, you round up despite it being closer to 255. And the difficulty of the question doesn't appear that this would matter either way.
