Determine whether the below sets of functions are linearly independent or not. a) y1 (x) = e^x, y2 (x) = cos x, y3 (x) = sin x b) y1 (x) = 1, y2 (x) = cos 2x, y3 (x) = sin^2 x Can anyone please show me how to solve these kind of problems?
