There are three ways. 5.5  6.4 or 4,6 there are (I believe) 26 ways to make something else.  Total is 29 or probability of 3/29  I am guessing a 10% chance.  Anyone else have an idea on this?

There are 6 sides for each die.
There are 6*6 ways for the dice to come up.  For every side of the first die, there are 6 ways for the other die's sides to come up.

radar was right regarding how many ways a 10 can show, ie 3.
The probability of a 10 showing on a single throw is 3/36.
