hey everyone, how would i do this word problem? You buy a pot and its lid for a total of $ 11. The sales person tells you that the pot by itself costs $ 10 more than the lid. The price of the pot is $ and the price of the lid is $??

if the total is 11 and the pot is 10 more than the lid than subtract how much more the price of the pot is by the total and you get the answers
so just 10 - 11 ?
