A snail crawled for 40 seconds at an average speed of 15 millimeters per second. Explain how to find the distance the snail traveled in centimeters?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

There are 10 mm in 1 cm. If the snail moved 15mm per second for 40 seconds the total distance moved was 15mm * 40 seconds = 600mm. 600mm / 10 = 60cm.
