Probability / Statistics question: If I have a known frequency of events, say 3.3 per minute and a known duration of each event, say 10 seconds, events can happen concurrently but are not additive (in other words if a second event started say 3 seconds into the duration of the first event, it would count as a single event lasting 13 seconds), how do I find the average time per minute that an event is occurring?
