i know how to do the exact mthod just looking for help getting them equal to work
what do you mean getting them equal?
in the form of Mdx + Ndy =0
Move everything to left hand side by multiplying and then adding so the RHS is equal to 0. Then multiply each term by dx

Yeah, you have to pretend dy/dx is a fraction and multiple each term by dx so you get dy on one term and dx on the other
cant i do cross multiplication with the original equation?
