OpenStudy (anonymous):

1mile= 5280 feet 1hour= 3600 seconds convert 1st than u divide feet/seconds

OpenStudy (anonymous):

can you show how to do it i don't get this at all and i have a test tomorrow and my math teacher doesn't teach

OpenStudy (anonymous):

i got it

OpenStudy (anonymous):

the eagle hav speed 200 miles/hour convert miles into feet, u wil hav 200*(5280 feet)/hour [since 1mile=5280 feet] it equal to 1056000 feet/hour. now u need to change the time into second. 1hour=60mins and 1mins= 60secs therefore, 1hour=60x60sec= 3600secs therefore, 1056000 feet/hour = 1056000feet/ 3600 secs = 293.333 feet/sec
