Do i need to have high knowledge of mathematics and programming to start studying in MIT computer science
I personally don't know what level mathematics are needed for the completion of the course but I am a high school student and so far I haven't had any math related hindrances. Programming wise python is recommended as the first language you should learn so I don't see why you would need prior programming experience. If you have prior experience it may make it easier but I don't believe it is necessary. To learn any programming language will require dedication, hard work and time.
ok, thanks. I asked this because the problems arent really easy... http://ocw.mit.edu/courses/electrical-engineering-and-computer-science/6-00-introduction-to-computer-science-and-programming-fall-2008/assignments/
Are you watching the lectures and doing the reading assignments? Also this is a college level course so everything may not be as straight forward as you are expecting. For some problems you have to do outside research or consult other people for help and that is what this study group is for.
thanks, I forgot about the lectures :) Well guys, bye A Mexican Friend
