x^2 + 7x + 10 is the area?
So factor to get the width/length:
(x + 5) (x+2)
Hmm... You can plug in anything, really.

LxW = x^2 +7x + 10 in this case?

the smallest area available is "0"

So when x = -5   or  x=-3  we get an area of "0" as far as I can tell..
