the slope of a line perpendicular to each given line?? x= -2

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Do you know what the line x = -2 looks like?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

straight up and down right?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Correct. And straight up and down lines have what is called NO SLOPE. A line perpendicular to that crosses that line at a right angle so in this case it would be a "horizontal line" " a line going from left to right straight across. Horizontal lines have a slope of 0 because if you look at a straight line it doesn't slope... So the answer is 0

o okay that u so much!
