how harmonic series converges or divergies

OpenStudy (anonymous):

harmonic series converge to 0. take this: an = 1/n and take numbers for n, you'll noticed that the number is getting smaller and smaller to 0. When the function end up with one value, we say it converges, but when a value ends up to infinity ( more than one number ) we say it diverges.

hence, an = 1/n is an example of harmonic series
