OpenStudy (anonymous):

(a-7)/3 + (5a-3)/6 - (2a+5)/4 is this equal to (8a-39)/12 or do I need to simplify some more?

OpenStudy (radar):

I got before reducing an answer of (8a-28)/12

OpenStudy (radar):

I used 12 as LCD, watch that last term preceded by a minus sign.

OpenStudy (radar):

getting: [(4a-7)+(10a-6)-(6a+15)]/12

OpenStudy (radar):

outcastlilgurl, did I mess up? I am not always right?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

4(a-7) = 4a-28

OpenStudy (radar):

the final answer became (2a-7)/3

OpenStudy (anonymous):

I used 12 as LCD too, maybe I multiplied wrong? let me redo the problem and see

OpenStudy (radar):

No No, laka showed my mistake

OpenStudy (anonymous):

i think the final result is just (8a-49)/12

OpenStudy (radar):

Thats what I now have after correcting my error.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

I did the problem again and that's what I got, thanks!
