I have a grid in the first square is a plus sign then across is numbers 0,1,2,3,4,5,6,7,8,9,10. Then under the same plus sign going down is the numbers 0,1,2,3,4,5,6,7,8,9,10. The problem say fill in the squares below by adding the two numbers that meet in the square

Yep, pick a number from the top and hold it with one finger. Pick another number on the side and hold it with one finger. Now bring the top finger down and the side finger across and where they intersect, you add the numbers. I'll send a picture.
