How do I find the level curve of f(x,y)=e^(2xy)?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

f(x,y)=k, k= codomain i think codomain of e^2xy is \[\mathbb{R}\]

OpenStudy (anonymous):

I'm supposed to get an answer like logarithms, hyperbolas, exponentials, ellips oe parabolas

OpenStudy (anonymous):

exponential

OpenStudy (anonymous):

how do you know the level curve is an exponential?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

because the function is exponential and codomain is real so that is exponential

OpenStudy (anonymous):

no, I think you're wrong. there's something that i have to do to get the level curve. Just because the function is exponential doesn't mean the level curves are exponentials
