The coordinates of the point have equal absolute value, the point is in the second quadrant, and the distance of the point from the origin is 2. What are the coordinates for x,y (?,?)

OpenStudy (anonymous):

(-2,2)?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

i tried that, its in the second quadrant? which ones that

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Second quadrant is top left quadrant.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

hmmmm ok, maybe (-2,0) ?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

that didnt work either....

OpenStudy (anonymous):

(-2,0) don't have the same absolute value. |0| = 0 |-2| =2

OpenStudy (anonymous):

thats true! hmmm i wonder what it could be

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Most obvious one to me is (-2,2). |-2| = 2 |2| = 2 How are you checking this btw?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

yea, im taking an online math course and it tells me if the question is right or wrong
