i have a question, how do i solve problems with domains? for example the domain of x is {-1, 0, 2} solve 6x - 0.5y = 3

I think you're being asked to find the range of the equation (i.e. the complete set of possible answers). You're given an equation, which you can solve for y, and the domain (all the x-values that this thing can take). Plugging each x-value in will give you three y-values. That will be your range (or image).
