Simplify.

\[x-y/x+y + x+y/x-y\]

OpenStudy (anonymous):

thats two fractions

OpenStudy (anonymous):

is it: (x-y/x+y) - (x+y/x-y)?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

alright , inorder to subtract, you'll have to have the same denominators , so you'll have to multiply the first fraction by (x-y) and the other fraction by (x+y), then simplify ^_^ give it a try now :)

OpenStudy (anonymous):

(x-y/x+y)+(x+y/x-y)

OpenStudy (anonymous):

okay get the same denominators, what will you get? :)
