How do I determine using sine and cosine rules when solving a triangle? What differences am I looking for? Thank you.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

If you have a right triangle, with x being the angle, sin(x) = opposite side/hypoteneuse cos(x) = adjacent side/hypoteneuse tan(x) = opposite side/adjacent side Use these formulas, when you're given 2 out of the three values, to solve for a third.

More looking at sina/A=sinb/B and cosine rules and when to use them. Pretty solid on SOHCAHTOA. thankyou.
