For a math project i have to do a presentation using nonlinear regression, does anyone have any ideas, with some information because i am clueless.

Nonlinear regression could be quadratic regression, cubic regression, quartic regression, etc. or sinusoidal, logarithmic, exponential, logistic, etc. You name it! If you're given a set of points with which you want to find a function accurately representing those points, then you can easily go to Microsoft Excel, plug in the points, and get a multitude of various regressions - or even with most recent graphing calculators. If you want to learn how to do a polynomial regression by hand, you're going to have to know solving systems of equations with matrices (large ones, at that).
