If a plane can travel 480 miles per hour with the wind, and 380 miles per hour against the wind, find the speed of the plan without a wind and the speed of the wind. The speed of the plan in still air is _miles per hour.

Well from the information given the only possibility of the speed of the plane without wind would be the point in between the speed of it with wind helping it and going against it because then it would be neutral, or without wind. That would be 430 mph. The speed of the wind would be 50 miles per hour I guess because it slows down the plane by that much or helps it along if it is exact, but probably not because the mechanics shouldn't work that way.
