i need help with a couple of problems please

OpenStudy (anonymous):

first one: decide whether the polyhedron is regular and/or convex

OpenStudy (anonymous):

First one and last one are regular because all their sides have one line through them this they are the same. The second one is concaved on some axiom and is not a regular polyhedron

OpenStudy (anonymous):

okay.. the second question is describe the cross section

OpenStudy (anonymous):

and the third question is: using f+v=e+2 find the unknown number 1) faces:? vertices: 6 edges: 12 2) faces 5, vertices ?, edges 8 3) faces 7, vertices 10, edges ?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

The cross section is just what shape does the cut make so: Square, hexagon and triangle

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Just put the numbers into the equation and do the arithmetic for the thrir question

OpenStudy (anonymous):

You can just plug those numbers in, I know you can do that, we did it last time with the angles!

OpenStudy (anonymous):

I think the first cross section is a trapezoid

OpenStudy (anonymous):

faces:? vertices: 6 edges: 12 f + 6 = 12 + 2 2) faces 5, vertices ?, edges 8 5 + v = 8 + 2 3) faces 7, vertices 10, edges ? 7 + 10 = e + 2

OpenStudy (anonymous):

It might be a trapezoid, I can't see it too well, and yes those equations are correct, now solve! :)

OpenStudy (anonymous):

NNow let her solve*

OpenStudy (anonymous):

f=8 v=5 e=15
