Find the area of each surface and ad them together. Looking at the rectangular shapes you have length * width which is ab for one rectangle bc for one rectangle cd for one rectangle Then you have a triangle on the bottom The area of a triangle is 1/2 bh (b and h are found at right angles) 1/2 * ae So your surface area is ab + bc + cd + .5ae Plug in the numbers and you will have your surface area.
