Find the perimeter, circumference, or distance around the figure given in the following problem, by using the appropriate formula. Round approximate answer to the least accurate of the given measurements. Assume r = 2.00 cm, a = 12.00 cm, b = 4.00 cm.

The three sides of the "rectangle" would be a + b + a which is 12.00 + 4.00 + 12.00 cm = 28cm The circumference of a circle = 2 pi r Circumference = 2 * 3.14 * 2.00 Circumference = 12.56 BUT we are only going to walk around half of the circle 12.56/2 = 6.28cm So you would add 28cm + 6.28cm = 34.28cm
