Hello, I was wondering if any multi variable calculus is needed in order for one to complete a course in differential equations and linear algebra? Which is harder by the way?

the prerequisite for diffeq is calc3, but im not sure about linear algebra

I am just wondering since my school offers differential equations and linear algebra as one course. I am going over some of the linear algebra part and it seems like im learning the stuff from cal 3 all over again.

some school does that: differential equations and linear algebra together. The differential equation and linear algebra are elementary. In linear algebra, we learn how to solve a system of linear equations. Later in differential equations you can also solve it using linear algebra. At certain part, you need to find the determinant in order to solve a kind of differential equations

differential equations is harder to most people, but linear algebra does a lot of work, compared to thinking :D

thanks.
