How would you come up with a closed formula for an equation that is not constant, not linear, and not quadratic?

I'm doing a lab report, so I'm not sure you should give me a direct answer but rather walk me through it. Here is the equation: \[F_{t}=F _{t-1}-0.10F _{t-1}+2500=0.9F _{t-1}+2500\]
