Calculate the volume in cubic feet of a rectangular container with the dimensions: Length = 35’3” Width = 8.0’ Height = 7’2”

OpenStudy (anonymous):

To get it in cubic feet, you should make your dimensions ONLY in feet... so your length would be 35 + 3/12 feet (35.25 feet) . your width is 8 feet, and your height is 7 + 2/12 feet (7.16666666 feet). The formula you need to use is length times width times height equals volume.

Do you understand how I converted the inches to feet?
