[x/x-5] -5 =5/x-5

OpenStudy (anonymous):

ok, this one is very easy...

OpenStudy (anonymous):

after doing all the maths, you will get x = 5/[-4]

OpenStudy (anonymous):

but how did you get it ?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

ok

OpenStudy (anonymous):

wait, is the x divided by x and then a 5 is subtracted or, is the x divided by x-5???

OpenStudy (anonymous):

its a fraction

OpenStudy (anonymous):

oh, so x is the top and the x-5 is at the bottom, right? and the same goes for the 5/x-5 right? because if that is so, then the answer is different

OpenStudy (anonymous):

yes its like that, [x/x-5][ -5] =[5/x-5]

OpenStudy (anonymous):

no divisions , just fractions

OpenStudy (anonymous):

there is a VERY big difference between [x/x-5] and [x/(x-5)]
