Any pdf file is also a ebook file. So, find pdf versions of any book (including my own) and you are home free...

I would recommend Valuation: Measuring and managing value of companies It is very nice book, u just have to know basic of finance and u are good to go. Basics for me are DCF, NPV, IRR, Cost of Capital (with understanding all of its components), knowing theory of bonds and stocks. I just remembered another good book to start it is Capital Budgeting:Theory and Practice by Pamela P. Peterson & Frank J. Fabozzi this book helped me a lot for understanding little things.

Thanks guys... i have started listening to prof damodaran lectures...they are very interesting.....will download material from there and will also get capital budgeting by pamela as recommended..thanks again
