OpenStudy (trump):

how do I program in C?

OpenStudy (julie):

Hey! "C programming Language" by Kernighan and Ritchie is awesome...a little tough though. I am also an engineering student and wanted to learn C so i picked up a copy from the library and am going through it. Here is also a link to an online copy of the book http://net.pku.edu.cn/~course/cs101/2008/resource/The_C_Programming_Language.pdf Try doing as many excerises as you can. If you have trouble with them I'm sure you could set up an appointment with a computer science prof at you school and they would love to help you. Good luck!

i would just learn c++, it's compatible with c and includes objects, templates, stl, and so much more.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

learning C++ is a good idea, if you are interested in C only, you can go to this cite http://www.cplusplus.com/reference/ it is a C++ cite but if you go to the left corner and click on C library, you will find a lot about C (and C++ if you become interested). There are codes also if you need examples.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

C is like any other programming language (sort of) if you are going to program in C make sure you have a good solid understanding of memory, memory addresses, pointers, and how objects (struts) are created in C. Good luck
