Assume that f(x) is continuous on [a,b] and differentiable on (a,b) and that f(a)=g(a) and f(b) = g(b). Show by Rolle’s theorem that there is at least one point between a and b where the tangents to the graph of f(x) and g(x) are parallel or the same line.
