hello i have a question on how to do this one substitution method problem? x-y=-24 and x+8y=3. there both one problem

OpenStudy (anonymous):

you need to solve for one of the variable in terms of the other (meaning get X on one side all by itself and then use that to fill in the x on the other equation)

OpenStudy (anonymous):

i know all the math is just the equation.
