2d Rotation equations?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Any fixed shape rotated (2pi rads) in the plane make a circle with a diameter equal to the largest dimension of the shape having a center half way between the two furthest points.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

wait what?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

If you take some shape, find the two furthest points, mark the half way point and use that as the axis of rotation, you have a circle with the diameter the length of that longest side

OpenStudy (anonymous):

if you rotate it 360degrees.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

i dont think thats the answer im looking for, i know it has something to do with Phi and x' and y'

OpenStudy (anonymous):

What do you want from the rotation? Perimeter and surface area?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

never mind i figured it out
