just expand it to x^2 + 0x + 1 its easier to factor that way
i dont get that my teacher only taught us how to factor with 3 or more terms

i've cancelled the x-8 and the x+1 in my problem and now i have ((1)/(3x))X((4x^3)/(x-1)) is that simplified?
