OpenStudy (anonymous):
The sum of 2 numbers is 126. The difference between the two numbers is 48. Find the numbers. I got x+y=126 and x-y=48. But when I try to solve, it doesn't match the answer. Any ideas? Are my equations wrong?

Yeap! I forgot to add the x's into 2x... It was a really stupid mistake :P I got x=87 and y=39.
