Solving system by Matrix question. Use row operations to solve the sytem? Can you help.I'm not sure how the second row, second column , and second row third column is to be answered. Thanks, NW. -10x-3y=-8 4x+y=4

Set it up as if it were a matrix of the coefficients: [-10,-3;4,1] and keep the -8 and 4 as a third column; forming what we call an "augmented" matrix. Use row operations to make one of the first or second column elements equal to 0, and you'll have two equations that you can solve easily.
