well you would have x^2 +8xy+16y^2

shortcut way is just remember square the first term . second multiply the two terms inside brackets by itself then by 2 , then square the last term ex 1. x^2= x^2 2 (x*4y)2 = +8xy last (4y)^2 = +16y^2
