That thing gives me a headache! Looking at the left hand side where the side is the hypotenuse of a right triangle the length would be:\[5^{2}+8^{2}=x ^{2}\] or that dimension is the sq rt 89 around 9.43 cm BUT the diagram show the side on the right at 10 cm.

OpenStudy (radar):

Any you find the area of the triangle face then multiply that by the heigth of the prism that would give you volume, but there is something I am not seeing. The lower triangle is an equilateral as all three sides have the tick mark. Area of triangle A=1/2 B H. The base is given as 6cm, the height can be calculated as follows:\[h ^{2}=3^{2}+10^{2}=109\]\[h=\sqrt{109}=10.44\] So the area =.5 X 6 X 10.44 =13.22 CM SQ

OpenStudy (radar):

Multiply 13.22 x 9.43 = 124.71 cu cm Choice e looks good, but only if you understood

OpenStudy (radar):

Did you??

OpenStudy (anonymous):

yeah

OpenStudy (radar):

I think I do also LOL

lol.. thank you
