hi..seems like that the answer sheet is not complete,,i can see only answer selection on c and d...where are the answer a and b?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

theoretical probability P(E)=n(E)/n(S)=# of outcomes in Experiment/total # of outcome of sample in space S

OpenStudy (anonymous):

if we look at the table: outcomes probability 3 heads 1/8 2h 1t 3/8 1 h 2 t 3/8 3 t 1/8 the sample space here is S= HHH, HHT, HTH, HTT, THH, THT, TTH, TTT = 8 OUTCOMES

OpenStudy (anonymous):

THERE were 24 students,..... so in the table,.... probabilities are for 3 heads 24 x 1/8 = 3 2 H 1 T 24 X 3/8 = 9 1 H 2 T 24 X 3/8 = 9 3 T 24 X 1/8 = 3 if we look at the other table the only correct one is 9 in the table.....ans

OpenStudy (anonymous):

but only answer c and d is in here,,,wheres a and b?
