Find the intersection point(s) of the following two functions: a(x) = x2 - 3 b(x) = -x2 + 5

OpenStudy (anonymous):

graph the two equations on the SAME graph and find where the graphs meet. or you can set the equations equal and solve for X.

oh okay thanks My math teacher is really bad at explaining and teaching. lol

no problem. just think about it. when you set the equations equal, you're really saying: at what X will the two equations have the same value for Y.
