the base is a hexagon with sides of length 9. think of the hexagon as 6 equilateral triangles where the height is 7.79 **use pythagorean theorem h^2 = 9^2 - (4.5)^2 so Area = 6*(9)(7.79)(1/2)
so 210.33
correct approximately due to rounding
exact height is 9*sqrt(3)/2
