How would i find the volume of this right cylinder???

OpenStudy (anonymous):

OpenStudy (anonymous):

volume of the big cylindre minus the volume ofthe tiny cylindre

OpenStudy (anonymous):

V=((Pi)r^2h)-(Pi(r^2)h)

OpenStudy (anonymous):

so 527.79- 125.66

OpenStudy (anonymous):

V=[Pi(8^2)(8)]-[(Pi)2^2(8)]

OpenStudy (anonymous):

okay so than volume would = 402.13m^2

OpenStudy (anonymous):

I got 1507.96

OpenStudy (anonymous):

you want the volume of the big cylinder minus the little cylinder right?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

yea

OpenStudy (anonymous):

are you doing the calculation right? [Pi*64*8]-[Pi*4*8]

OpenStudy (anonymous):

the big cylinder would be 6 is the radius and 8 is the height

OpenStudy (anonymous):

No the big cylinder has r=6+2=8

OpenStudy (anonymous):

oh okay.. i was doing just 6

OpenStudy (anonymous):

ok cool, you ok now?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

yeah
