Either: work out the speed of each (speed = distance over time), call one time (t) and one time (t - 42/60) = (t-10/7) and work out the distance of each at time t and set them equal.

Or, work out how far the first one goes in 42 minutes (140miles), and use the RELATIVE VELOCITY (speed of 2 - speed of 1 = 320-200 = 120mph), and work out how long it takes to 'catch up' that distance i.e 140/120. Add it to 42 minutes.

this was my calculation to get the time. 320t-200t = 140
then 120t =140
t=140/120
t=1 hour 16 mins
