OpenStudy (anonymous):

are the functions inverse of each other? f(x)=4x + 16, g(x)=1/4x - 4

OpenStudy (anonymous):

yes

OpenStudy (anonymous):

If you plug one into the other you should get f(g(x)) = x.

OpenStudy (amistre64):

as long as f(x) = 4x +16 and g(x) = (1/4)x -4; they will be inverses of "each other". if that makes a difference :)
