How do you know if a = (((-1)^n)(n^3)) / (n^3+2n^2+1) is going to diverge or converge?

OpenStudy (amistre64):

as n->inf?

OpenStudy (amistre64):

that -1^n flips around alot....

OpenStudy (amistre64):

bit other than that, it looks like it approaches 0....but thats just a guess

OpenStudy (amistre64):

divide everything by n^3 that gives you -1^n -------- 1 + ...... so it looks like it flips between 1 and -1.... might not converge
