how would i make this simplified and positive exponents? 3x^3y^-2/3x^2

OpenStudy (anonymous):

3x^3y^-2 --------- 3x^2 To get rid of a negative exponent, you take it to the opposite side of the / sign and make it positive. 3x^3 ----- 3x^2y^2 Cancel the 3's and the x's x ------ y^2
