I was told today a different way to graph exponential functions than what the professor had showed us. here is an example. starting graph is y=2^x. the points of the starting graph are. (0,1),(1,2),(2,4),(3,8),(-1,.5)(-2,1/4), (-3,1/8). the variation is y=(2^x-1)+4... so the way I was taught is that you move rt. 2 on the x axis of points and up 4 on the y axis. the other lady said use your y= to get knew points
