Hey, does anyone know how to solve tan3x(tanx-1)=0?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

pi / 4

OpenStudy (anonymous):

and 2pi/3

OpenStudy (anonymous):

is that because you divide 0 by tan3x?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

and then get tanx = 1?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

you set each one equal to zero

OpenStudy (anonymous):

so tan 3x becomes tan 2pi which equals zero

OpenStudy (anonymous):

then tan equals one at pi/4

OpenStudy (anonymous):

ohhhh awesome. thanks!
