Could anyone describe the relationship between the graph of a function and the graph of its inverse function?

They are the mirror image of each other. If the function contains the point (x, y), then it's inverse contains the point (y, x)

If the function has the point (2,3), then it's inverse contains the point (3,2). Also, the domain and range swap
